Dr Siobhan de Little
Environmental Analyst
Siobhan is an Accounting for Nature® Accredited Expert with a PhD in Quantitative Ecology. She combines statistical expertise with practical ecological knowledge to deliver clear, defensible insights for clients.
She has extensive experience in natural capital accounting, biodiversity credit frameworks, and environmental markets, including method development, monitoring design, and alignment with global approaches such as the Kunming–Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework, the Open Standards for the Practice of Conservation, and Accounting for Nature®. Her project work includes leading the framework development for Gum Tree Lane’s Corymbia Credits and Wedgetail’s nature-linked loans. Across these projects, Siobhan focuses on bridging the gap between conservation finance and scientific integrity: designing solutions that are rigorous and credible while remaining practical, accessible, and cost-effective for landholders and project developers.
Siobhan also brings experience in public sector data strategy and multi-agency project leadership, with advanced training in Bayesian analysis and ecological modelling. Passionate about integrating science, technology, and conservation finance, she works with clients to deliver measurable, verifiable outcomes that support both biodiversity and sustainable land management.
